About Me

Andi R. Günther is a Berlin-based poet, editor, and community arts organizer who writes as self-realization. Their poetry describes scenes of entry into temporal landscapes and the self, using experimental formatting and treating the page's white space as a body in itself. In Andi's poetry, words reveal & dress wounds. Andi focuses on printed matter as a way to make the self material, as well as a tool to incite social change.

Andi is the founder and editor-in-chief of Winterfat Presse, a feminist poetry collective; reading room, writing circle, and publication based in New York City. They are the inaugural winner of the Eleanor Schenker Herlands Poetry Thesis Prize, and hold a BFA in writing from Pratt Institute.
